Jorge Lorenzo admitted it had approached Honda for 2010 MotoGP serve. However, Lorenzo insists that Yamaha is the main choice.Rumors had circulated in Laguna Seca, that Lorenzo was talking with the Honda about the opportunity to strengthen the team next season. However, Lorenzo insisted chose Yamaha was held on priorities.
"For now, Yamaha remains my primary choice. I want to stay here. We were discussing this contract," said Lorenzo quoted autosport, Tuesday (7/7/2009).
Lorenzo denies any offer from Honda. "There is no offer from Honda. But, I can not tell whether they were discussing this or not. I can only say, the manager and I opened all the doors," he continued.
Meanwhile, Yamaha themselves aware of the approach taken by Honda. But, the boss Masao Furusawa ensure that his team would try to maintain Lorenzo."We are interested in Jorge. We're talking about his contract, but we knew about the offer Honda. If he wanted to go there, so we do not force him to survive," he said.
