Captain Proud Hold Inter Barcelona series

The results of this draw was enough to start the Champions League.

Despite failing to win in front of loyal supporters, Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti insists he and his colleagues were satisfied to get just one point after a 0-0 draw against Spanish giants Barcelona.

"We played against one of the best teams in the world, so with this result is very nice," Zanetti said in an interview to Sky.

"We were good enough to cover their space, especially in the second round. This is a good starting point for us in this competition and we hope to win at the next meeting," he said.

Alluding to the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the San Siro, Zanetti has admitted his party welcomed the Swedish national team's players before the game started.

"It's our right to do because he had once been a part of our team. He's never been a strong leader for us but as far as we believe, we all can be leaders for this team," he said.

"Yes we've had a lot of improvement this season and we believe we can accomplish great things this season."
