Rossi Wins in Misano

Leadership MotoGP championship, Valentino Rossi, increasing his lead over team-mate from Yamaha, Jorge Lorenzo, with the won the San Marino Grand Prix in front of supporters in his own country, Sunday.

World champion Rossi, who is now 30 points ahead of the Spaniard came with four races left, starting the race from pole position for the first time at Misano, but soon slipped into fourth place before rising to take a leadership position.

Lorenzo, who won in Indianapolis last month when Rossi crashed, in second place after winning a duel with compatriot Dani Pedrosa.

"We worked really well. We can take it as a perfect weekend," said Rossi, who wore a helmet with the design of a donkey after feeling stupid for falling in America.

"I feel gratitude to the fans, emotionally. Kejuraaan still last long," he told Mediaset television.

Eight times world champion in various classes that his future in doubt at Yamaha, Friday, when he questioned the wisdom of having two strong drivers in the same team.

Lorenzo, who will race again with Yamaha next season, not too disappointed with the results balapannya.

Leadership championship in the 125cc category, Julian Simon, won the Aprilia motorcycles, after the Italian Andrea Iannone, fell and scolded Pol Espargaro in the last corner while leading the race.
