Save Gallas France From defeat in Tunisia

France needed goals in the second half from William Gallas to grab 1-1 draw in Tunisia in the second game of their World Cup warm-up last Sunday.

Central defender Gallas, who could undoubtedly be featured as a player in World Cup opener due to calf muscle injury, to convince coach Raymond Domenech heading into free-kick with Yoann Gourcuff in the 63rd minute to save the world champion and former European champions from defeat.

Tunisia fought with courage, opened the scoring in the fifth minute through forward Issam Jemaa, but France, which still need time to adapt to the new 4-3-3 system which was introduced during the team's 2-1 victory over Costa Rica, Wednesday, increasing gradually.

As when against Costa Rica, forward Thierry Henry is sitting on the bench when the game starts, giving armbands to left back Patrice Evra players, and entered the field in the second half.

The only member of the French team which won the 1998 World Cup, although he was not playing in finals, Henry aged 32 years experienced a difficult season with Barcelona and now in the twilight of his career.
